You Don't Need A New Funnel!

You Don't Need A New Funnel!

Behind every business that looks polished and powerful from the outside is a woman navigating the messy middle. Often, she’s caught up in the swirl of too many ideas, disconnected from her brilliance and how she talks about it, or feeling the deep frustration of knowing she’s meant for more but unsure how to get there.

Over the next few blog posts, I’m sharing stories from real clients. These high-achieving, purpose-driven women came to me with big ambitions, a massive sense of purpose, and a ton of heart, but they were also exhausted, mired down in doubt, or struggling to gain traction. Their stories anchor the deeper truth behind what I teach: clarity isn’t optional, it’s your most important catalyst for growth and impact.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, invisible, or out of alignment with your business, my hope is that you’ll see yourself in these women and get a glimpse of what becomes possible when you get clear on what you’re really here to say and lead.

Why Isn’t It My Offer Converting?

Have you ever launched something and gotten nothing but polite “likes” and crickets?

You're not alone.

I can think of a number of times where I’ve had a solid offer, a beautiful landing page, all the email sequences written and scheduled, social media posts galore…. and nothing.

As an entrepreneur, this has got to be one of the most frustrating experiences. We know we’re doing everything right:

  • Showing up consistently

  • Posting value-packed content

  • Building the funnel

  • Updating the website

  • Even hiring experts to help

And yet… there’s no traction.

Over the 13+ years of running my own business and helping others, I’ve come to a core truth:  it’s not a strategy problem. It’s a messaging problem.

If your message isn’t clear, resonant, and anchored in a strong point of view, your audience won’t connect no matter how shiny your brand or polished your funnel is.

From Fuzzy to Focused: Jennifer’s Clarity Shift

Jennifer Nelson is a top-tier real estate agent in a highly competitive market here in Colorado Springs.

“I knew my ideal client and the problems I solved, but I struggled to communicate it concisely,” she told me when we met for the very first time.

When we started talking about the biggest challenge she was facing, she said, “I didn’t want to rely on long conversations for people to understand my value.”

She had the skill, the experience, and the results, but her message wasn’t doing the work for her. She was still having to explain, over and over again, why she was different from all the realtors in her area.

That’s when we got to work.

We identified the core perspective that shaped the way she worked with clients and found the key phrases and natural language patterns that made people lean in. We structured her messaging around what she wanted people to take away, not just what she wanted to say. Most importantly, we surfaced her superpower—her warmth and grounded energy—that made her stand out in a real estate market saturated with noise and ego.

Her messaging shifted to something that was truer, more honest, and allowed her to bring the fullness of who she is to the table.

The effect, of course, is that her content landed differently, her client conversations left a lasting impression in a way they hadn’t, and best of all, her confidence grew!

Strategy Without Clarity Won’t Stick

Too often, we’re told to “just get visible”, but visibility without a clear, compelling message and strategy to go with it, we’re just creating more scattered noise in the business ecosystem.

I said this on Linkedin the other day, but I honestly believe the messaging and visibility gurus have done us dirty.

So, let’s start with the basics. How do you know when your messaging isn’t landing?

  • You get engagement on social posts and even your emails but not conversions

  • You overexplain what you do, your expertise, and how you help people on sales calls

  • Your content sounds like everyone else’s (hello, AI!)

  • You feel like you’re constantly tweaking but never gaining traction or any form of real momentum

  • People still don’t really get what you do

Do any of these feel familiar? Check, check, check on all of these over the years for me!

Our go-to response is to tinker. We think we have a funnel problem. We think we need a rebrand, a new website, a different content plan… when in reality, none of those things will work.

They’re just tactics.

What you need is a message that actually connects you to your ideal client quickly, clearly, and powerfully.

You Need a Big Idea That Resonates

You’ve heard me say this so many times, but clarity isn’t just about explaining your offer more clearly.

Clarity is about owning the big idea that shaped it. It’s about having a clear point of view that cuts through the noise and is the one thing you want to be known for.

When that idea is rooted in your lived experience, values, and unique lens on the world, it becomes magnetic and makes ALL the other pieces of your business, including the offer, hit differently. It gives your visibility purpose, and it tells your audience, without needing a full discovery call, exactly why they should choose you.

This is what Jennifer tapped into, and so can you.
